Thawing Instructions: When thawing, leave the hen in the sealed plastic bag . Thaw by either- placing in refrigerator approximately 24-48 hours or placing in cold water approximately 1-3 hours. Cooking Instructions: Preheat over to 375 degrees and remove cornish hen from bag and place breast side up in a greased baking dish. For Thawed Cornish Hen- cover cornish hen loosely with foil and bake approx. 1 hour. For Frozen Chicken- cover cornish hen tightly with foil and bake approx. 1 hour, remove foil and bake uncovered for approx. 45 minutes longer. Let cornish hen rest for 10 minutes, remove the string and carve. Enjoy!
